Accessibility Statement

Dynomed Ltd is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We design, build, and maintain www.dynomed.io with accessibility as a priority and review it regularly against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

1. Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.

www.dynomed.io is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

2. Scope

This statement applies to the public marketing website at www.dynomed.io, including all pages under that domain. It does not cover third-party services we link to (such as Formspree forms, Google Maps, or PostHog analytics).

3. Measures taken to support accessibility

• Semantic HTML throughout (landmarks, headings, lists)
• Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
• Skip-to-main-content link for users navigating by keyboard or screen reader
• Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements
• Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
• ARIA attributes on tabbed components (tablist, tab, tabpanel) with arrow-key keyboard navigation
• Form fields use programmatic labels and the autocomplete attribute to support assistive technology and password managers
• Animated decorative content respects the prefers-reduced-motion system preference
• Responsive design that supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
• Page language declared via the lang attribute

4. Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, the following content does not currently meet WCAG 2.1 AA in full. We are aware of these issues and are tracking them for resolution:

• Colour contrast on primary call-to-action buttons: white text on the Dynomed brand orange (#EB6D00) measures approximately 3.5:1 against white, below the 4.5:1 ratio required for normal-size text under WCAG 1.4.3. Button text remains legible, and we are evaluating brand-compatible options to bring all interactive elements above the 4.5:1 threshold.

5. Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

The website is designed to work with current and recent versions of the following browsers and assistive technologies:

• Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest two major versions)
• VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
• NVDA and JAWS on Windows
• TalkBack on Android

7. Assessment approach

Dynomed assessed the accessibility of the website using a combination of:

• Automated testing with axe-core, Lighthouse, and Unlighthouse against WCAG 2.1 A and AA criteria
• Manual keyboard navigation, focus order, and form validation testing
• Verification of zoom and reflow behaviour up to 200%
• Review of touch target sizes against WCAG 2.5.8
